ABOUT THE RUN

When will Footprints in the Park be held?
Footprints in the Park will be held on 11 November 2012 (Sunday).


Where will Footprints in the Park be held?
It will be held at Pasir Ris Park. The starting and ending points will be at Downtown East, which is also the assembly point.


What is the distance of the walk?
The walk is 3.5km long.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

What are the modes of registration?
Participants can register online^ at www.ticketbooth.com.sg. Alternatively, participants may visit any of the TicketBooth Authorised Agents to register.
^For online registration, only credit card payments are accepted.


What are the registration fees for the race categories?
Plus! / eXplorerkid Member
Child (12 & below): $10
Adult ( Above 12): $15

Family Package of 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children): $40

All fees are inclusive of GST and booking fee


How do I know if my registration has been accepted?
Once your registration has been received, you will be contacted by phone or email. A registration form will then be sent to you via email and you will be required to return the completed registration form. Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email and ticket. Please bring along the ticket on both the Race Pack Collection and Event Day.

Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?
No. Registration fees are non-refundable.


Can I make changes to my particulars after submitting my registration?
Change of Event T-shirt size will NOT be allowed. Only particulars of the participant(s) can be amended.
You will be required to call TicketBooth at 6296 2929 or send the changes to info@ticketbooth.com.sg. No amendments will be accepted after 28 October 2012 (Sunday), 23:59 hours.

GOODIE BAG COLLECTION​
 

What is a Goodie Bag?
The Goodie Bag is an event pack which consists of an event T-shirt and other goodies worth more than $50. All participants must collect their Race Pack during the period allocated prior to the race day. We seek your understanding that no Race Pack will be given out on the event day.


Where and when can I collect the Race Pack?

The Race Pack collection will be held on 4 November 2012 (Sunday) between 11am and 7pm at:
Downtown East
Begonia Pavilion Level 2, Aster 2
1 Pasir Ris Close
Singapore 519599


What do I have to bring along to collect my Race Pack?
You will be required to bring along your ticket(s) & Identity card(s) for the Race Pack Collection.

 

What if I am not able to collect my Race Pack personally?
You can appoint a representative to do so on your behalf. The representative must produce his/her NRIC, a written authorization letter and the ticket(s).

 

How will I know if I am one of the 1st 200 participants to receive the $5 Downtown East Voucher and when can I collect it?
Participants who are entitled to receive the $5 Downtown East Voucher will be notified via phone or email. The vouchers will be given out during the Goodie Bag Collection.

EVENT DAY

​
What time do I have to report for the walk?
All Participants must arrive by 7.15am and acknowledge their attendance and be entitled for the Lucky Draw segment.

 

Do I need to put on the event T-shirt?
Yes. All participants of Footprints in the Park will have to wear the event T-shirt which is included in the Race Pack.

 

Can I skate or cycle during the run?
Participants are not allowed to skate or cycle on the designated route during the walk or at Begonia Terrace.

 

Can I bring along my pets?
No. Pets are not allowed at Downtow East.

 

Where can I leave my belongings?
We apologise that no bag deposit service will be provided. Participants are advised to travel light for the event.

 

Will there be course markers along the route?
Yes, course markers will be available at every 1km. Marshals will also be deployed along the route.

 

Will there be water points along the route?
There will be only 1 water point around the 3km mark, outside Escape Theme Park.


What if I am injured during the walk?
Participants are to approach the nearest route marshals, who will then seek for medical assistance

GENERAL
1. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by NTUC Club (the 'Organiser') to ensure the participants' safety, the Organiser, their sponsors and their appointed officials shall not be liable for any death, injury, loss, damage, cost, expense, claim suffered or incurred, howsoever arising
.

2. By registering for the event, the participant (including their heirs, successors and assigns) agrees not to make any claims or lodge any complaints whatsoever against the Organiser, Sponsors or officials of the event for any injury, death or loss/damage to property sustained during the event, or disputes over any matter in relation to the event. The participant also agrees to hold the Organiser, Sponsors or officials (each an ‘Indemnified Party’) harmless and keep each indemnified party fully and effectively indemnified from and against any and all losses, costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis), claims, damage and expenses whatsoever which any of them may incur (directly or indirectly) as a result of the participant’s breach of any of the Rules and Regulations.

3. Completion of the entry form confirms the participants' agreement to abide by the Rules & Regulations.

4. The Organiser reserves the right to change or amend any of the Rules & Regulations at its own discretion without prior notice.

5. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, delay, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the Event.

​

6. The Organiser reserves the right to publish names and particulars of participants during and/or after the event for publicity purposes.​


7. The participants agree to allow the Org
anisers to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any publicity purpose.


8. All rights reserved.


REGISTRATION
1. Pre-registration is required for the event.

2. The event is open all ages. Children born in the year 2010 or after are not required to register for the event.

​

3. All registration must be made by 23:59 on 28 October 2012 (Sunday).


4. Once registration has been duly processed, participant is required to complete a registration form. Incomplete or inaccurate registration forms shall be deemed void.


5. Participant is required to indicate his/her choice of the race sh
irt size on the form. Race shirt size is subject to availability and is on a first come first serve basis. No exchange of sizes is allowed


6. There will be no refund of registration fee for:
- Multiple entries
- No-show
- Withdrawal of participation

- Delay, Postponement and cancellation of the Event


7. Participants will be notified of the event details via email. Participants who cannot be reached by the Organiser will not be allowed to participate in the contest.

RACE PACK COLLECTION​
1. Participants are required to collect their Race Pack on 4 November 2012 (Sunday), between 11am – 7pm at:
Downtown East
Begonia Pavilion Level 2, Aster 2

2. All participants are required to bring along their tickets to collect their Race Pack that includes the Race T-shirt and goodies.


3. Any participant who is unable to collect his/her race pack personally can appoint a representative to do so on his/her behalf. The representative must produce his/her NRIC, a written authorisation letter and the ticket. The Organiser reserves the right not to issue the race pack to the representative should any of the required documents not be presented.


4. The first 200 registrants will receive a $5 Downtown East Voucher. Participants will be notified via phone or email should they be one of the first 200 registrants.


MEDICAL & SAFETY
1. It is the responsibility of participants to have themselves medically certified fit to participate in the Event. A participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the official medical team.


2. The Organiser will not be held liable for any health conditions, losses and / or injuries sustained, during or after the event.


3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the walk route as they deem fit for the safety of the participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards during the event, at any time without prior notice to the participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participant prior to the date of the walk. The Organisers shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.


4. In the event of an emergency arising from any incidents affecting the key installations in the vicinity of the Event venue, the Event will be cancelled without prior notice.


EVENT DAY
1. All participants must arrive at by 7.15am and acknowledge their attendance and be entitled for the Lucky Draw segment.


2. All participants are required to put on their Footprints In The Park T-Shirt for the event.


3. Participants must produce their NRIC or birth certificates for verification on the day of the event. Plus! members must also produce their membership card for verification.


4. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any Participant deemed physically unfit for the walk.


5. Support vehicles, roller blades, or pets are not allowed on the designated walk Route.


6. There will not be any baggage deposit service available. Participants are advised to travel light.


7. In the event of bad weather, the commencement of the walk will be delayed. If the bad weather persists, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the walk without any registration fee refund or expenses incurred in the course of participating in the walk.
